Frank Fraser Back In the Saddle Again

May 16/07

2007 May 20 - Fraser fans will be pleased to learn that Frank Fraser is making his return to the driver's seat of a stock car this year, starting next Saturday, May 26 at Scotia Speedworld with the season opener for the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour.

At 62 years of age, Frank wonders some days if he's crazy, but most days is convinced he's still got some excitement left for Maritime race fans. The biggest question he's got of himself is how his stamina will be after being out of a car for most of the last 10 years...

"That will be the key," said Fraser. "I know I can be quick for a few laps, but we'll have to see how long it lasts once we start the season. If I can be competitive enough to have some fun, we'll keep at it."

Fraser's familiar No. 23 is being sponsored by Mountain Wild Blueberries, George E. Collins & Sons, Cat Shack and Atlantic Cat.

The SFR shop will field a second car for young Shawn Turple, who will pilot the No. 0 entry for the the third season.

Watch for Frank's race results on the "Frank" page of this site.
