Flying from Nova Scotia to North Carolina, where the race car hauler and trailer were left after St. Augustine (Flight path = approx. 1,600 miles).

Leave Charlotte, North Carolina en route for California (2,473 miles)...

Monday, March 5:
11:15 a.m. AST (One hour ahead of EST): Departs Shubenacadie for Halifax International Airport. First leg of flight has late departure due to winter storm in Toronto, Ontario. Arrived in Toronto at 2:59 p.m. EST. Charlotte flight scheduled to leave Toronto at 5:30. Flight to Charlotte cancelled due to the snow storm. Check back for update on Tuesday.
Tuesday, March 6:
Flight arrived in Charlotte at 10:45 a.m. On the road - finally!
6:20 p.m.: Travelling west on I-40, going through Crossville, TN. Lost some time when one of the tie-down rings in the trailer broke and the pit cart started moving around. Had to stop and repair. 314 miles down - 2,159 to go.
Wednesday, March 7:
8:30 a.m.: "Amarillo By Morning..." The tune the guys will be singing as they just crossed the Texas state line. Still on I-40, in a little town called Lela. "Long, dark night," says Scott. "Cold here, only 36 degrees (F)." Past halfway, with 1,187 miles to go.
6:00 p.m.: Joseph City, Arizona. Trip going well. Expecting to pull into Irwindale through the night. With 1,934 miles logged so far, only 539 to go.
Thursday, March 8:
1 a.m. Pacific time (4 a.m. EST): Arrived in Irwindale!
