TRANSMISSION WOES SLOW FRASER
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Scott Fraser's day at Memphis Motorsports Park came to a halt when a piece broke in the transmission of the No. 00 Fans of Fraser Chevrolet on the 130th lap of the Rev-up 200.
"The car was good," said Fraser, who was running ninth at the time. "We were biding our time until the last 50 laps of the race. On that restart I shifted coming off turn two and had nothing. It's something internal."
Wisconsin's Johnny Sauter was the winner of the American Speed Association event. Fraser was scored with a 32nd-place finish.
Fraser races the No. 00 Fans of Fraser Chevrolet again next Sunday in the Winchester 400.

FRASER STARTING 14TH IN MEMPHIS
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Scott Fraser qualified 14th fastest among the 43 cars at Memphis Motorsports Park and will start the No. 00 Fans of Fraser Chevrolet 14th on the starting grid for Sunday's Rev-up 200.
Fraser likes the Memphis track and thinks it will lend itself to an exciting race.
"The track is really wide and should let us run more than one groove," said Fraser, Shubenacadie, N.S. "There are a lot of good cars here so the race should be very competive."
Saturday was the first day Fraser had a really good chance to shake down his new Fans of Fraser Chevrolet and he said the car turned out well.
"It feels good," said Fraser. "Seems like we're able to adjust it to our liking. We should be okay."
Wisconsin's Johnny Sauter was the fast qualifier and will start from the pole.
The Rev-up 200 will be telecast live on TNN at 2 p.m. EDT.
