FRASER 29TH AT ST. AUGUSTINE (02/17/01)
   ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia's Scott Fraser finished 29th in the asaracing.com 300. The race was the opening event on the 20-race 2001 American Speed Association (ASA) schedule.

   "We got off to a slow start," said Fraser. "The car was decent but Lady Luck was not with us. We're disappointed but we'll be ready for Irwindale in three weeks."

   Fraser started the 300-lap race from the 14th spot. Joey Clanton was the winner, followed by Scott Hansen Mike Garvey, Johnny Sauter and Kevin Cywinski.

   The ASA and Fraser are back in action on March 10 on the 5/8-mile Irwindale Speedway, located in Irwindale, California.
